Arthur C. Clarke’s Birthday Wishes
Submitted by mwilliams on Mon, 2007-12-17 22:49.For his 90th birthday, Arthur C. Clarke has three wishes. He wants evidence of extraterrestrial life, he wants us to give up our dependence on fossil fuels and he wants to see peace in Sri Lanka. May they all come true.

He still kicks ass!
Not a huge Clarke fan but you can't help admiring this guy for his vision. He came up with the ideas for a lot of the technologies that NASA and ESA are currently investigating, one of them is the space elevator which would help us cheat us out of the problem with escape velocity and make spaceflight a lot cheaper. if you're curious about it, search Wikipedia!
