The Internet may be changing the way we read in terms of our access to material and the actual physics of reading, but it seems to me there are more book reviews than ever on the go these days. The doors of literary criticism have been opened to the masses, and we do have to be more discerning readers now that absolutely everyone’s in on the lit crit game. Regardless of whether it’s a good thing or not, all the whining in the world isn’t going to stop progress, so it’s rather a waste of argument!
