Lists of bad adaptations are easy to come by. What I want are good adaptations, and why. Cause good adaptations are good for different reasons. Some because they are faithful; some because they are not. Some because of something in the moviee, and some are because there was something in the book.

But bad is bad. Although perhaps a good subset would be *good* books made into bad movies. For instance, is it surprising that Battlefield Earth made a bad movie?? The list isn't of really bad books, but they are definitely a mixed bunch.
