Not a big fan myself, but I thought some of you people out there might appreciate this. Have fun!

Sci-fi/horror writer Scott Sigler hasn’t spent a cent on promoting his book Ancestor. He gets his fans to to all the work for free. Take a look at this fan-made trailer; it’s well done, but some of the images are pretty gruesome. Sigler estimates the spot has sold 100-500 copies of the book with its 4000 hits so far. That’s not a bad return on investment.

Coinciding with his 87th birthday, the sci-fi author has decided to publish some long forgotten works along with some of his experimental drafts and early writing. Great news for sci-fi fans.
