Well, it’s the thing that inspired David Wroblewski's The Story of Edgar Sawtelle and Lin Enger's Undiscovered Country, both of which are obvious takes on Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Yes, it’s a timeless plot, but it’s somebody else’s timeless plot…and an overdone one if this keeps up.

Manga MacBeth and Company

Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Hamlet, Julius Caesar and Romeo and Juliet are being rendered in manga and will be released next month by John Wiley and Sons. The bard’s greatest hits will "combine the stunning effects of manga while remaining true to the original context," says project developer Adam Sexton.

A teacher/student relationship

This is obviously a very special relationship formed from a love of literature.
But I must have a grotty mind; as I read this I just could not help feeling like there was something up.
Certainly no point in the article indicated anything wrong. Perhaps my ill feeling is a sad indication of the way things are today.
